What is Balance Pro?

Balance Pro is a powerful personal finance and budget app that helps you reach your financial goals. You can keep track of your financial accounts (savings, checking, cash, loans, credit cards, and more) as well as set goals and budgets. You can see a list of all Balance Pro features here.

Please note: Balance Pro does not sync with your bank accounts. Any accounts, transactions, or bills you add is managed by you—just like a traditional checkbook register.

How to Add An Account

1. From the Accounts page, tap the green plus button in the bottom right of the screen.

2. Enter your account details.

  • Name: Add the name of the account.
  • Balance: Enter the current balance of your account. This will be your initial starting balance and you can enter transactions into this account from this moment forward.
  • Type: Select the type of account, like savings, checking, etc.
  • Currency: Each account can have it’s own currency. Select the primary currency your account is most often used for.
  • Note: This is a note field for you to add any additional details you may need.

How to Add a Transaction

1. Tap the account in which you’d like to add a transaction.

2. Once inside an account, tap the green plus button in the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • Date: The date and time for this transaction.
  • Category: For reporting and organization, select a category.
  • Color: If you select a color, it will appear in your transaction list. This makes it easier to find a transaction if you want to come back to it later.
  • Cleared: Mark your transaction as cleared, or turn the switch off if the transaction is still pending in your bank account.
  • Repeat: If you’d like to set up this transaction to repeat at specific intervals, enter it here.
  • Note: This note field is for any additional details you may want to add.
  • Check #: If you have a check number you can add it here.
  • Add Receipt: Tap this button to add a receipt to this transaction. You can take a photo or upload an existing photo from your device’s photo gallery.

How to Mark a Transaction as Cleared

To mark a transaction as cleared, tap the blank circle next to its name. A check mark indicates a cleared transaction.

How to Add a Bill or subscription
